The Clear Aligner Treatment Process

Here’s what you can expect if you are a candidate for Invisalign:

  1. Your Aston, PA, dentist will take digital scans and x-rays and send them to the Invisalign lab, where they will create your customized aligners.
  2. Once they’re ready, you will visit your dentist to have your first set of aligners checked for a proper fit. You will wear them for 22 hours each day, removing them only to brush, floss, and eat. Your dentist will tell you when to switch to a new set of aligners.
  3. Every few weeks, you will visit your dentist so they can check your progress.
  4. Once your treatment is complete, you must wear a retainer to keep your keep from shifting back into their original position.
