How long will it take to get my crown?

The initial procedure for dental crowns in Aston, PA will consist of Dr. Dan Seger removing the area that is compromised by either bacteria or breakage.

At the initial visit for a crown, the tooth is shaped to make room for the crown, and then an impression is made. The impressions of your teeth are sent to a dental lab that will use the impressions of your teeth to make your crown.

The Dental Crown Procedure in Aston, PA

A temporary crown is fabricated and cemented in place with temporary cement. After two to three weeks, the lab will send us the finished crown. At the second visit, we gently remove the temporary crown and then cement in place the lab created crown.
