Current Appointment Procedures

I want to assure all of our patients that your safety is very important to us.
We have always maintained a high standard of sterilization and infection control procedures.  Since the arrival of COVID-19, we have added a few more levels of protection for patients and staff.

  • As we have always done, all treatment rooms are cleaned and disinfected after every patient.  Common areas are cleaned and disinfected throughout the day.
  • You will notice staff wearing additional layers of protective equipment.  Staff are wearing clean surgical gowns that are changed for each patient.  We have installed on site laundry to ensure that we always have a supply of clean scrubs and surgical gowns.    N-95 and surgical masks will be worn by clinical staff.  Surgical masks are changed between each patient.    Face shields will also be worn by staff, and are cleaned and disinfected after every patient.
  • We are screening all patients for illness or known exposure to COVID-19.  All patients will have their temperature taken with a non contact thermometer (two second forehead scan).  Patients found to have a fever will be asked to reschedule.  We are also asking anyone that has a known exposure or who is not feeling well to stay at home.    We can provide remote guidance over the phone or through video messaging if necessary.
  • The waiting room will no longer have any magazines or toys, and the chairs have been spaced apart.   We are spacing out appointment times so that there will not be people sitting together in the waiting area or in the hallways at the same time.   If necessary to prevent multiple people in the waiting area at the same time, you may be asked to wait in your car until we are ready to see you.
  • Patients are asked to wear a mask or face covering while in the waiting room and common areas.  You may remove your face covering once seated in treatment areas.
  • We are following all of the guidelines recommended by the CDC, OSHA, and the Pennsylvania State Board of Health to keep everyone safe and healthy.
We appreciate everyone's patience and understanding as we adapt to these new changes.   We look forward to seeing you!
