What Happens During My Cleaning?
When you visit us for your teeth cleaning, our friendly team will welcome you into our office. Once you are comfortably settled in the dental chair, our experienced dental hygienist will perform a thorough dental cleaning, using special dental tools to remove all the plaque and tartar that you weren’t able to remove with your toothbrush and floss at home.
Then, if needed, the dental hygienist will show you the best techniques for brushing and flossing at home to reduce plaque and keep your teeth and gums healthy.
While you’re in our dental office in Aston for your cleaning, Dr. Seger will also examine your teeth, gums, and oral soft tissues. He’ll check for signs of cavities, gum disease, and other dental issues that should be addressed. If he finds any problems, he’ll discuss them with you and offer treatment options. Dr. Seger always wants to find the best solution to your dental issue, and he wants you to feel entirely comfortable with your treatment.
